I used to use kodak gallery (formerly called ofoto) for all my prints, as their quality was really good and their prices in-line with everyone else. but recently I've noticed their print quality going downhill - in particular, it looks like they're having an issue with their inks spreading uniformly over matte paper, which I prefer. so, from now on, I'm using mpix where the picture quality is excellent. for 5x7 prints their price is the same as kodak ($0.99) and they recently added a $0.19 4x6 option, which is very reasonable. not to mention their metallic paper, which is pretty cool for some things. the only drawback is that they delete your pictures after a while, but I can live with that if the pictures don't turn out poorly. buh-bye kodak. |
